About

My name is Kathreen Kaye Rodrigo Absuelo. I was born in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines. My childhood was spent living in Ayala Alabang and Santa Rosa Laguna in the Luzon region until I moved to the U.S. in 2000. My first art exhibition took place at the 619 western building in Pioneer Square, during their First Thursday Artwalk in 2011. This was a diverse space to see evolving works by international and local artists. I admired their galleries for years and was honored to have shown my paintings there, a month before the city announced the building to be demolished. Today, I am based in Seattle, where my interest of doodling as a child blossomed, collaborating with creatives, and producing what appeals to my mind.
